Frisselle came to the SunTrust Racing team for the 2009 season as full-time co-driver with veteran Max Angelelli. The 25-year-old American from Aspen, Colo., had a stellar 2008 campaign with the upstart AIM Autosport team, where he won his first two career Rolex Series events on back-to-back weekends at Montreal and Watkins Glen. An open-wheel racing success in Skip Barber, Formula BMW and NASCAR's Whelen Series, Frisselle started the 2009 season with 49 Rolex Series starts to his credit.
